Commissions are open only when directly specified by me. This can happen in one of several ways, though the most common is that I will post it somewhere on either Secundi or the Livejournal. Maybe even both. I'll post saying how many slots are available. The number of slots is dependant on the amount of time I have. There is a one slot per person policy unless otherwise stated.
Paypal is the most readily accepted form of payment. Upon confirmation, I will give you my paypal address. Payment needs to be accepted before I will start work. For Customs, you will be shown progress shots of your Gryphon, starting with a sketch. If you're happy with the sketch, I will move on, then give you a preview of the coloring. If there are no problems there, I will go ahead and finish up your Gryphon! Nifty how that works, ain't it? :D
Prices [All prices are in USD and subject to change based on my discresion]
Base Prices:
$5: Standard, light, and heavy build
$4: Miniature build
$7: Bipedal, elongate, and aquatic build
$10: Phoenix, Kirin, Elemental (include some traits by default, please see below)
From these base prices, additional traits are priced based on their rarity level found on the trait page.
Base Traits/Modifiers come free of charge.
Level One:
-Up to three level one traits can be chosen free of charge.
-After three, each additional level one trait costs $.25 each.

Gender
-Because of their rarity, a male Gryphon will cost +$.50 extra.
Coloring
For the most part, coloring is included in the base price. However, if you request something extra-complex, an additional charge may be applied. This ensures that I, the artist, doesn't go insane.
-If you'd like a soft-shaded Gryphon, that is possible! With this coloring style, faded markings will be possible and look much nicer. It will cost $3.00 on top of the base price, however.
Birth Defects
Is there a trait you'd like your Gryphon to have? Are you okay with it being non-genetic? This is the option for you!
Prices vary, from $.25 for something minor to $5.00 or more. Just let me know what you have in mind, and we will work something out!

-Scars: Free for minor, inquire for major
-Jewelry: Free for simple, inquire for more complex

Kirin Types:
A major point is that they are highly magical, with control over lightning and other weather conditions. Some are also bestowed with minor or major healing abilities.
-Always have at least one pair of hoofed legs, hooves are always cloven.
-Body is scaled, with a thick line of dorsal scales along the midline and on the legs, and a plate-scaled belly
-Dramatic hair-tufts are present
-Single horn, equine ears
-Draconic tail with extra-long hair and tuft
Phoenix
Also highly magical, with strong control of heat and flame. Their body runs very hot and tends to cauterize all wounds, leading to the impression that they cannot be harmed.
-Phoenix-only feather crest made of flame
-All four legs are taloned
-Double wings ALWAYS - second pair is often vestigial and made of flame
-Only feathers on the body, no fur
-Long feathered tail with trailing feathers made of flame
-Pointed/hooked bill only available to Phoenixes
-Eyes are usually lightly colored with a black or dark sclera
Elemental
There's no real specific list of traits for these guys... They just have whatever additions they need to be a good match for their element, so a Forest elemental would have plant-like growths across its body, etc.
Breedings!
Between $10.00 - $15.00, based on complexity of parents.
-Commissioned breedings will always result in two kittens.
-Out-of-Aerie breedings will have a $2.00 surcharge applied, as these breedings would naturally have a greatly reduced chance at multiple babies.
-If you would like the kitten stages, add $2.50 to the cost of the breeding.
-Some random rules: Gryphon kittens can be traded to other people or given back to me to be given out to random adopters through draws. Kittens cannot be traded for RL currency.
Randoms/Semi Customs
-Randoms: $4.50, will have at least one second tier trait. Supply me with a few colors you don't like.
-Semi-Customs: $5.00, pick up to four colors and a pattern. Guaranteed to have at least one second-tier trait.
STARTER AERIES
-Contain four Gryphons: One male and three females.
-Cannot be claimed in a standard slot.
-Keep in mind: If there's something you'd like badly but it doesn't seem to fit into any price bracket, just talk to me. For example, if you purchase an Even More Custom Aerie, and would like several level four traits but no level 5, this can be arranged.
-$15.00: Random Basic Aerie. Pick a color theme for the members, and everything else will be up to me. No traits above level 2 will be included.
-$20.00: Semi-Custom Aerie. Choose colors/patterns for each member, as well as up to three level 1 traits each and two level 2 traits to be scattered between the members. Possibility of randomly-chosen higher-level traits exists.
-$25.00: Slightly More Custom Aerie. Select as many level one and two traits per member as you would like, and one level three for each member.
-$30.00: Even More Custom Aerie. Unlimited 1-3, up to one 4 each and 2 level 5 traits to be assigned to the aerie members.
-$35.00: Custom Aerie. Unlimited 1-3, up to one 4 and one 5 each, Elongate, Aquatic, and Bipedal body modifiers allowed
-$45.00: Full Custom Aerie. Unlimited 1-3, up to one 4 and one 5 each, all body types allowed (including Kirin, Phoenix, and Elemental). Additional traits can be selected, but prices will be added onto the base Aerie cost.
Purchasable Items
These are items that can only be purchased with USD. They are all items which can be applied to customs or to breedings.

-Colored Feather (red, green, blue, brown): $1.00 Each
Adds one randomly-selected elemental mutation to a kitten in a litter.
*Effects are stackable!
-Spontaneous Mutation Favor: $1.00
Adds one non-rare mutation into the gene pool of the parents. Guaranteed to affect at least one kitten.
Can be stacked, but the effects will become increasingly odd.
-"Custom" Baby Favor: $2.00
Enables owner to select one custom baby based on the genes/colorations of the parents.
Can be combined with colored feathers and Mutation Favors to introduce additional traits, though rare traits may require additional tokens or feathers.
-New Trait Token: $10.00 (Added to the gene pool at large)
$15.00 (Unique to that Gryphon and any offspring it might have/Customs that you later buy)
These tokens enable the development of a brand-new trait into the genome.
Can be used either on a breeding or added onto a custom slot.
