As a Doom Kat, her blood is a glowing black, and she has he natural ability to change the world around her in damning ways. She has a glowing red gem in her chest, but it's concealed by a silver chest plate. Regardless, the malicious aura it gives off is always present. She can change minor things, like the stability of gravity, the toxic value of air/water/food, the luck of others, increase the level of damage others receive, and even turn areas into an expanse of death. Doom Kats are known for not having a great sense of mercy, and an even worse sense of vengeance.
She lived most of her life in the Void Dimension, a place which is made entirely of starry red space, some of which is molded into landscapes and structures and littered with other things which don't seem to belong - like areas which are made of actual land, cuts in the sky which appear like a clear blue sky, and ruins that don't seem to be a part of the Void Dimension's history. Many are told that the Void Dimension is the beginning and end of all things, and that when something is destroyed, it's ruins end up in the Void. Because of this the Void Dimension has many things contained within it which were lost to the other Dimensions. Though this is not common knowledge, as many of the descendants of this Dimension like to keep the secrets of the Void, secret.
The armour she wears is something she found among the discarded ruins of other worlds, and she has adapted it as her own. When she was within the Void Dimension she took it upon herself to be a warrior for her kind, setting out to protect the secrets of the Voids from intruders and other malicious creatures which would sometimes appear near-death in the Void. Scythe weapons are seen as powerful, blessed, things in the Void Dimension as Heiroke's Godblade is such a thing. Her Scythe is made of the unique metals of the Void, with the silver blade permanently stained red and black. It is enchanted in such a manner that it can cut through anything - even enchanted armours. Her own armour is indestructible, but anything that can alter the state of her armour has a chance of harming it (such as a Graeph's tail blade, which can cut through magical properties).
She was still within the Void the day of the Breach - when the Shades decided to use the Void Dimension as a route into the guarded areas beyond the Inner Dimensions' Border. Shade Warriors flooded into the Dimension from black rifts which formed all over the place, and a 'peaceful' day was turned quickly into a raging bloodbath. She took to arms at the first sight of them, slicing through waves of blank-masked Shade Warriors to protect her homeland from being taken over. During this battle she received the wound that permanently damaged her right way; as a Shade Warrior formerly of the Rage Element tore sections of it clean off.
The pain was immense. She was blinded by it, but not left harmless. She threw the land around her into a blackhole; sending the Shade Warriors to worlds unknown as she gathered herself, and took off to the continent of Vorador - to where the Heart of the Void exists. She arrived in time to feel the effects of a Shade's Aura slowly fading away, and to find the scattered remains of many of her brethren left upon the land mass. The Shades had used the Heart of the Void to cross over into the Void Expanse in the Inner Dimension; using the Void as a gateway, and killing all that got into their way.
It was something she could never forgive, nor forget. Her blade may have tasted the blood of a few fallen Shade Warriors, but it wasn't enough. Like so many of the survivors of that attack, she swore to kill those who dared to use her homeland as a tool. Once the gateways to the Inner Dimension were restored, she crossed over; her underbelly twisted into the Void Essence by her close proximity to the Heart of the Void left as a permenant reminder of that day. |
