Of the Mythos Element, he has with him at all times a bonded soul guide who is an extension of himself. While a separate entity, and able to think and act on it's own, the familiar-like bonded can feel the pain of it's bonded and if anything happens to this Mythos Raveen the same thing happens to the bonded. However the soul guide cannot take damage on its own, and neither can it die, unless it's bonded has died. These creatures tend to take on the appearance of creatures that are most like their bondeds, and in this Mythos' case his bonded has taken on the form of a deer. This reflects that his true nature is that of an empathic individual, one who cares for others, but almost to a fault as he can be too trusting of others.

When he was a young Slayer he was in a Guild with other newly "graduated" Slayers, serving under the Executioners Talos and Nyveuun. Upon one of their first missions beyond the Border they were intercepted by a group of Shade Warriors that fought with a little too much sentience behind their attacks. Their tactics took the group by surprise, allowing them to be momentarily overrun, before the Executioners were able to even out the playing field. During those few moments, however, he took a direct hit from a Shade Warrior whose claws had embedded themselves in the right side of his face and pierced his chest cavity. He didn't see his life flash before his eyes, but he was certain he was going to be killed right then.

He doesn't remember exactly what happened, but the next moment of clarity found him being helped out by the young Healer of the Guild; Anketh, a fellow Mythos. She healed the injuries she could manage, but was sobbing her apologies because she couldn't heal his eye. She apologized for not being experienced enough, and though he would never see through his right eye again, he still declared her forgiven; after all, if it hadn't been for her healing he would've lost a lot more than just his eye. Ever since that day he's felt indebted to her, and has had a great respect for Healers.

The fight was over, and the Guild was sent back to the Valleys shortly after. The Executioners had discovered something unsettling about that day, and it was urgent they tell the Guardians of their findings. Whatever it was that caused their leaders to be so unsettled, none of them ever knew (at least, as far as he knows). The Guild was disbanded shortly thereafer, and this Raveen set off to retrain himself. Without the use of two eyes he'd have to become better at seeing through just one.

The years passed, the Slayers in his first Guild moved on, and he lost touch with them. He joined other Guilds throughout the years, but never quite felt at home in any of them. So he focused on his training, and staying alive.

The sword he has is silver, and enchanted to only respond to his will; if another were to take it from him it would seem unbearably heavy to them.

Advancement

Combat Class Level 2

Magics

Level One:
Shadow Strike ~ A low-level variat of the Phantom Cut, Shadow Strike causes two consecutive hits to follow the first blow from the Slayer. It literally causes the follow-up strikes to hit the same spot flawlessly, so when an initial strike hits a deadly area the two hits will hit the same mark following that.

Death Tyrant ~ A first-level striking ability, it adds to the natural strength a Slayer already possesses and adds more kick behind a physical attack. It can causes a normal swipe of a set of claws to be enough to shatter through rock and bone, or make a bite so deadly it damages nearby tissue.

Reflex Dash ~ Unlike "Speed Increase", reflex dash does not alter the speed in which a Slayer can move. Rather it directly affects their reaction times, and gives them a sort of extra sensory ability to feel when a next attack may be coming for them. It allows them increased evasive capabilities, and by the time a Combat Class Slayer reaches the final level of the Combat Class they can generally use this enchantment to avoid most - if not all - physical blows.

Speed Increase ~ The most basic of combat magics, but the most useful. Speed Increase causes the user's speed to increase to the point where they're moving as a blur instead of a solid object. While this magic is equipped the individual will find their own sense of sight somewhat blurred around the edges, so a lot of practice is needed to get use to the speed in which they can now move.

Level Two:
Judgement Cut ~ A power-heavy cocentration of power that can literally cause flesh and bone to break under strain if not used immediately. Judgement Cut causes reserve magics in the area to all focus in on one attack, allowing for one blow to literally destroy an opponent's defences and break them all apart, and then follow through with a direct hit of immense physical force. When combined with Weapon's magics Judgement Cut can be the final fatal blow, or the destructive of an opponent's defences. It's most useful against non-Shade Warriors, but if it must be used against them it can at least shattered any defences they have activated.

Silver Sage ~ Specifically oriented to be used against Shade Warriors. Silver Sage causes a silver-aura to taint the user's shadow. When an attack is followed-through the silver-aura follows up with a direct strike of purest silver in an explosive reaction of silver needles. With the right placement of the initial hit, Silver Sage can down a Shade Warrior permanently.

Tactics Class Level 3

Magics

He was trained in the Tactics Class before the "Tactics Builds" were created, so his magics are different from those of the current Tactics Class. He knows a large majority of Destructive Magics, and their counters. Counters work to negate the Destructive Magic, but they only work if used by those trained in their use -- he can use the counter to stop the effects of the magics on those he casts them upon.

Destructive Magics:
Rstuak ("Toxin" -- Counter: "Oraks") ~ Causes the next breath that the target takes to fill it's lungs with poisonous fluid, drowning the target in a feverish haze of pain. Yual ("Shred" -- Counter: "Bien") ~ Tears the corporeal body of the target apart.
Takku ("Debt" -- Counter: "Ula") ~ The target takes the damage intended for the Slayer.
Esra ("Bind" -- Counter: "Gom") ~ Target (s) are unable to move, bound to their location by thousands of threads that appear out of thin air to bind them in place.
Leraesu ("Contaminate" -- Counter; "Reai") ~ Wounds of the target(s) are contaminated with flesh-devouring energies.
Pysula ("Breakdown" -- Counter; "Kylas") ~ Destroys the summoned magics of others, breaking barriers and summoned creatures into pieces.
Rewana ("Emotion" -- Counter; "Evaal") ~ If used when the Slayer has deep-set emotions active, causes those emotions to manifest in a destruction or protective blast of magics that can cause devastating harm or protect another from harm.

Traps:
One should take heed that in the old Tactics Class, the Trap Magics were unstable. Traps can not tell the difference between 'enemy' and 'ally'.
Death's Toll: Enchants an area to be contaminated with a poisonous aura that, once the trap is activated, causes all those caught within it to have their physical body burned away to nothing.
Oblivion's Touch: Enchants a small area to be turned into a death trap. When an enemy steps upon the enchanted area, it's obliterated by an influx of raw magics.
Morality Reversal: Erects an unseen barrier that can cause up to three entities to have their morality temporarily reversed so that they see their allies as enemies, and temporarily fight for the wrong side.
Devastation's Reap: Once tripped this trap causes large silver blades to spring up from the ground, impaling all those in the area and devastating those who may be most harmed by silver. If more than one of this trap is cast in an area, it can cause there to be so many blades that all enemies end up shredded in seconds.
Disorient: A trap that, once activated, causes those caught within it to feel great confusion.

Weapon's Magic:
Explosive Blade: Causes the Slayer's weapon to have an explosive lining to it's blade, forcing any wounds it causes to turn volatile and explode seconds after being received.
Mental Drain: The Slayer's weapon is tinged with a furious blue-black light, and the next hit from the weapon causes the one hit to have their concentration knocked out of them as their mental energies are sucked dry.
Tainted Blood: Once there's blood on the Slayer's blade it causes the one who the blood belongs to, to start feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and like they're about to pass out. One must be careful that their own blood is not upon the blade, as the magic will effect the user as well if there is even a trace of their blood on it.
Orcle's Backlash: Causes the next wound the weapon causes to heal-over, which can be used as a mockery of a healing magic when used against allies to heal over already received wounds by slashing them open again.
